The Roots Collective

The Roots Collective

Roots Collective is a group comprised of four core individuals: Danny Agnew, Isaiah Thomas, James Mungin II, and Dantrail Felton. Each member of this collective has been working diligently on the ground in either Liberty City Miami, Overtown, Opa Locka, Miami Gardens, or Little Haiti. The group was created because they identified stark similarities consistent with state violence being perpetrated in each of the fore-mentioned communities. Their mission is to use their community support, organizational connections, and political pull to create spaces where communities and organizations collide head-on.
